im new at all this i dont know if this guy really likes me. im now in 6th grade and a weekend ago we had a homcoming dance, he was going with someone else but i guess since where he lives there is only a elementry so when he moved onto middle school he already had a girlfriend but now there are other girls pretty than her so hes movin on with out her knowin. so on the dance night (i have a crush on him) my friends set me up and him to dance a slow dance together and i must say it was the best moment of my life!!!!!!!!!!!! the next day of school it was the time we sat in the cafatiria til the bell rang , i was not there yet but a minute be4 i came to sit down my friends keep sayin "TRENTON CAME HERE!!!!!he asked if u liked him " they said they told him i like like him . the whole day i was blushin wen i saw him then it was the end of 6th period i walked down the hall and he said wats ups kelly . he has never paid attention to me like this before ! its a first i think he likes me cause today in theatre arts at the end ( hes in my t. arts cl ) i was sittin in my seat and he came up to me 2 times. first time i said okay. second time he came up and faced me sittin backwards in the chair just starrin at me i felt so happy !!!! does he like me i need help

Ok. Ill try to make this simple. They say that the reason we see objects in color is because the light waves bounces off of the object. If an object is percieved as blue, all the colors in the spectrum will absorb into the object, and the blue will bounce off the object and into our eyes, making it appear blue. My question is, what is in in the object that makes it blue and makes the other colors absorb into it,except the blue? What is the true state of the color of objects, if the light is taken away? Question on making homemade bread?

I'm just curious. I have a recipe for white bread from a Betty Crocker cookbook that I have used since I was a teenager (I'm 54 now). The bread turns out great; no problems there. My question is about one of the ingredients. It says you can use 1 3/4 cup of water, potato water, or milk which has been scalded and then cooled. Why does the milk have to be scalded? I've always done it and just now wondered (shows you how quick on the uptake I am!!). The milk is NOT being used to dissolve the yeast, that is done in warm water before the milk is added. Plus, if you choose to use the 1 3/4 cup of water or potato water it is not required to be heated in any way. Just curious after all these years....thanks.

I recently visited France and Spain and I fell in love with Spain. I want to live there in the future for sure. I speak some Spanish but I'm not entirely fluent yet. Why did my dad change all of a sudden?

4 year-old's disappearing blood?

My 4 year-old cousin got sick New Year's Day with a virus. He was rushed to the hospital via helicopter. His blood got thin and wouldn't clot. Then his blood started to disappear. Sounds almost like he's having some nice seizures, with grimacing and loss of muscle control. The confusion may be the recovery stage. On the other hand, the episode when he wrote himself a note is inconsistent as he wouldn't have the control to write if he had a seizure bad enough to lose memory. Any substance use? Regardless, impossible to tell without seeing the doctor, though. It would certainly be very exciting if he had one when he was driving - that would be definitely be one way he'd end up seeing a doctor.

Okay, So there is this Project around where i live, called the Ulster Project. It's basically a group of teens from where i live, hosting for 4 Catholics and 4 Protestants from The Belfast area of Ireland, so that friendships can be made and eventually the violence between Catholics and Protestants can end in Northern Ireland! the problem with using 10oz gloves when you train is the tendency for you to wear your hands and wrists out faster due to the lack of cushioning, especially on the heavy bag. as far as sparring goes, wearing the heavier gloves is usually due to you wanting to protect yourself and your partner from receiving too much damage in sparring. the problem is there will definitely be some degree of adjustment when you use the lighter gloves in an actual match.

i got married at 20 and now am 26 and have 2 kids. We moved away from my famiily due to all thier problems. my family only consists of my elderly grandma who is great but my uncle embezzled money from the post office and TRASHED my rent house i let him live in for FREE while i was out of state for husband for finish school, and never paid me the money for the damages, I actually caught my blood aunt having an affair w/ my blood uncle () 10 years ago and she is crazy but she is 'nice' and 'fun to be around' but has regularly caused alot of stress in my life, backstabbing and participating in rumors that are far from the trust about me when i didnt even live in the same state, just for enjoyment, and my own mother married an a s s h o l e when i was 14 and i was bacicly on my own after that, my boyfriends family pretty much were my parents at that point. I am just so super nice and stupid and my heart still misses them that i keep giving them chance after chance. My mom calls me on the phone "blah blah i am gonna divorce my stupid husband" and gets me all worked up hoping she will leave him and come stay w/ me in texas, but she never does. I needed some help, had some major medical problems and my own mother wouldnt drive 6 hours to help me and my 2 kids out while i was knocked out on pain pills and asleep all day every day. My husband helps ALOT but has to work to keep food on the table and bills paid. I do have friends here but they work full time. My family has never been there for me when i needed them but im still so damn nieve and forgiving and overly nice, and i take them back and let them hurt me over and over. I recently planned a trip over there to visit them but one thing after another after another has kept me from leaving, plus at night when i try to sleep all the crazy stuff they've done runs thru my mind like 'why are u even going to visit them w/ ur kids, they don't deserve your time'.......i am so confused. i know it sounds cut and dry but w/out them, my life feels so empty. they are 'nice and fun ' to hang out w/ but they are so miserably immature and CRAZY, my own mom doesnt like to baby sit her own grandkids, its too much 'work' for an afternoon wheni come into town to visit so i can go out w/ a friend. My Mom is going to be 86 years old and suffered a bad stroke. With that stroke dementia set in. Seems the past 6 months she has gotten worse. She yells, bites and swears at the isted living place where she lives. There are times she gets out of control and they put her in her room (mind you she has no idea where she is) Its happened once they did this Mom got so mad she tried to get out of her room only to fall out of her wheelchair and ended up behind the door in her room with a broken rib. With hardley anyroom to open that door a big girl had to get in there which made matters worse. Is that a form of abuse to leave a dementia person alone? I feel Mom belongs with people like her... I have told my husband the times when I have felt the temptation to go outside the box so to speak but have never done it. I tell him so he knows something is wrong in our relationship that is causing me to feel this way. I feel that my husband is full of empty promises. He promises things we or he will do but it never happens. I don't want to push or nag, but I feel if he helped me out more at home and was a more gentler of a father to the kids and wasn't so attention seeking, and sensitive I could see some potential to this marriage lasting like I want it to. My friend says she sees me walking away very soon if he doesn't wake up. It is like he thinks I am not playing and am too scared to leave regardless of the situation. Being that I am in the military with two children, how would a divorce affect me financially and how would it affect my carreer? He says if we split up we would still be friends and he would take care of the kids while I deployed, but would I be able to support the kids financially with the allotments going to him? My income is pretty much the only income right now. He is going to school for cosmetology and is claiming unemployment from his previous job in the meantime. I want to do the right thing, financially and for my family, but I need to be happy too. Any ideas? I don't want to end it, but I am too busy to wait around for him to get his life together. Like I said I am 22 and he is 33...I expect more from him at his age. I feel more grown up than he is. He even makes no secret when I do things he dissapproves of like I need his permission...I end up feeling major resentment and disgust when I think of some things in our relationship....also like I said, I am the soldier. I am the one in the army. I understand that he wanted to be in the army, but he doesn't need to act like he knows more about my job than I do...he does that all the time. He also doesn't need to talk to the kids like he is a drill sergeant or put my daughter in the position of attention to get her to listen.

i have the same meal plan almost! look, your body takes time to recover. it needs vitamens and is still trying to go back intot he malnourished state. you should treat it well. dont count calories, but do still exercise lightly. go ride a bike for fun or got ake dance lessons or gymnastics. go swimming for the heck of it. you can seriously eat whatever you want with the help of exercising. treat your body nicely by eating a sweet treat 1ce a week. i know its hard but keep your head up

It's great that you are taking public transportation to get around. I've been doing it for sometime now and, yes, it's bad- it's crowded, time-consuming, and the smells are the worst! But, I just keep thinking about how much money I'm saving by not paying for gas, insurance, repairs, etc! I do miss my car, but I'm not missing money! Suggestions for visitation schedule after I move two hours away from my children's father?

I am moving after the first of the year about two hours away from where I currently live. Right now, I am the custodial parent but my ex husband and I have our three children (ages 9, 5 and 4) equal amounts of time. Currently, we live about 25 miles apart. He only sees the kids on his days outlined in our Divorce Decree. He takes no part in any extra curricular activities for our kids, such as Cubscouts and therefore, my son has had to forego being in Cubscouts this year. I have no family in this area, and his family has literally stated that they in no fact are willing to help me. When my kids are sick, or are out of school, I have nobody here to help me and have to miss work in order to stay with them. Therefore, I will be relocating to the town where my family lives about 2 hours away. I want nothing more than for my kids to maintain a relationship with their dad and will do everything in my power to ensure that they see him as often as possible. I'd even be willing to drive them to see him every weekend if that's what it took, as well as any school breaks, holidays, etc., then we would exercise joint custody during the summer months. If anybody has any suggestions as to possible visitation arrangements, it would be appreciated.

Chances of having a normal pregnancy after mc?

We have 2 boys already and both were great, uncomplicated, full term pregnancies. Well 5 days ago I had a mc. I didn't smoke, drink, or use drugs and I didn't have a bad infection (I did have a cold when I was about 5 weeks before I even knew I was preggo) and there is no fertility problems for us and I have no medical problems. I am also almost 24 so I am at a great child bearing age. There is also family history of birth defects, down's syndrome, etc. The doctors are uming that it was just an abnormality with the pregnancy like most are and it naturally rid itself. Well anyway to get to my question, what are the chances that I will have a mc again? What are my chances of having a healthy pregnancy next time? I have heard mixed stories. I have heard that your chances of having a normal pregnancy go down each time you have a mc. I have heard that if you only have one and have had a normal pregnancy before, that it doesn't increase your chances of having another one. So what is true?

What should we do regarding Foster Children?

Ok my husband and I have adopted our daughter, she is now 10 mts old. 3 months ago our local dhs contacted us and stated that her birthmoms 2 other children had been placed in foster care and wanted us to take them until their mom could meet her program. We agreed to foster the children. They are 3 and 18 mts old. It has been 2 months and i am afraid we bit off more then we can chew. I feel like our daughter is not getting the attention she deserves because the other 2 children need a lot of attention due to being neglected etc. I feel awful that we are even contemplating not fostering them anymore, but I dont know what to do. My husband and I are so stressed out and tired that i dont feel like we are being all we could be to any of the kids. Do we let dhs place them somewhere else? or do we continue to try and raise the kids at the expense of our family? I feel like if we let the girls get placed with some other family that is will be bad for them cause they are attached . On a perpetual diet, but can't lose weight. help?

I have been on a perpetual diet for like 6 months. I don't understand why I can't shed a pound. I eat about 1200 calories a day, and work out for about 30 minutes a day at least. I get nowhere. Upper GI Series?

I went to the to doctor today because I have been experiencing stomach pains at the top of my stomach (feels like my stomach has to growl but can't.) Anyways my doctor ruled out acid reflux or a ulcer because I only get this maybe three times a week and occurs only in the afternoon strangly. She said I could have a hiatal hernia and I should get a Upper Gi series to test and find out (she also says it could be stress mostly but wants to make sure its nothing bad). I have done research so far on how the procedure is done, I am just wondering if the Barium stuff makes you gag or get sick when/before/after you drink it. Also if anything hurts throughout the procedure.
