How do I change my Xbox Live Location?

Hi uhmm is there anyway I cud change my location to United States on Xbox Live as recently all am meeting is british people, irish people and italians I never meet any americans anymore Id prefer playing with americans I mean they used to be tons of americans on games but now isn'tre isnt. is there anyway I can change my location settings as that may help?? dnt ignore this
